What We Do
Research, education, and collaboration across India and the Netherlands: from climate law pedagogy to policy research.
Current Research
Is Kerala ready for a climate resilient future? Project KERST sets out to answer this through three connected lines of inquiry: what legal and policy frameworks say, what communities on the ground experience, and what Kerala and the Netherlands can learn from and contribute to each other. Phase 1 is already underway. A youth-led filmography competition has been launched, a legal and policy audit is in progress, and a bilateral dialogue workshop is planned at Leiden. The output is a Community Knowledge Base, a Kerala Climate Resilience Framework co-produced with communities, and a capacity building programme for local governance actors.
